??? Hi im a noob at nitro rc cars and trucks and i was woundering how good are stadium trucks??

Re: ??? Overall, the gas truck class is dying out. Personally, I think they are a blast to run. They take some skill to keep traction. However, they are not as durable as a buggy. But if you want to become a good driver, gas trucks will definately teach you.

Re: ??? i agree that the 1/10 gas truck class is dying out but if you have no intentions of racing it is a great place to start out. the trucks are durable, fairly simple to maintain and they're not too noisy - a big plus if you live in the city. they do suffer from "traction-envy" but that in itself can be fun too if you're only bashing and not racing. get a name brand vehicle and you'll be fine.

Re: ??? Stadium trucks are lots of fun if you are an experienced driver, otherwise they can be frustrating because of the rear wheel drive and the driving problems that presents.
If you are a noob to the hobby, get an entry level 1/8 scale 4wd buggy, learn to drive then "dumb up" to stadium truck. |
