| O.S. .12 CV-R Out of the Box: The O.S. CV-R Definately gets a compliment on the pretty blue cooling head. Instructions were fairly straightforward considering they were partly in Japanese. Besides that, the breaking in of this motor could not have gone smoother. ![]() On the Track: This engine was a powerhouse. Rated around 1 hp, it screamed down the sraightaway. Low-end was great, which got it over most of the jumps I have come up against the past 3 years. I actually had to loosen the slipper clutch it order to keep from spinning out. I tuned this engine 1 time in the past 2 years. Every time I take it out it runs 220 degrees consistently. Longevity: I ran the O.S. CV-R for 3 years in my Triple-X NT and just now had to take it out for a pinch after its tenth gallon. The trick is to change airfilters after every heat! -Nitromonkey.com
